It is ideally located on the main East Coast Main line railway from London to Edinburgh and next to the A1 and A46 road links. EWS joins ADS

EWS joins ADS. ADS is the premier trade organisation advancing the UK Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space industries. ADS was formed from the merger of the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS), the Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA) and the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) in October 2009. ADS also encompasses the British Aviation Group (BAG).

EWS successfully deliver latest training module to LASD Bomb Squad

EWS in conjunction with Mithxpro have successfully delived the latest module in a multi module training package for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad. This module was an extention of the previous modules that have been delivered and built upon previous training. This latest training saw the integration of LASD Bomb Squads with other tactical units.

Counter Threat Alliance Launched

EWS is extremely pleased to announce the official launch of the Counter-Threat Alliance (CTA) Ltd, along with its other founder partner companies Optima Defence and Security, and Torchlight Solutions.

The CTA is a partnership between internationally recognised domain knowledge experts with proven operational, training and capability development experience in full-spectrum counter-threat services.

Our mission is: ‘To provide integrated full-spectrum counter-threat services using internationally recognised domain knowledge experts, independent of equipment manufacturers, to deliver operational capability to the Defence and Security sectors in order to safeguard lives, organisations and reputations’.

The CTA enables military, police, other government departments, international and private security organisations to readily harness a comprehensive suite of counter-threat capabilities through a single commercial point of access. The CTA provides:

Integrated, full-spectrum counter-threat services

Internationally recognised and proven domain knowledge experts
The ability to rapidly respond and adapt to meet customer requirements in all threat environments
End-to-end capability development
Independence from equipment manufacturers

The CTA’s founding partner companies all have proven capability development experience in their respective specialist fields. These are complimented by a number of associate companies who complete the full-spectrum of counter-threat services that the CTA provides including Cyber, HUMINT and CT Security.

The Board of Directors includes Major General (Retired) Jerry Thomas who, in his last appointment, was the Assistant Chief of Defence Staff for Intelligence Capability where he was responsible for the development and deployment of UK Defence’s intelligence, imagery, and geographic support services as well as intelligence and security training.

Keith Hammond, Director CTA stated, “The formation of the CTA takes the existing strategic alliance to another level and adds a number of other specialist companies to provide a single point of commercial access to full-spectrum counter-threat capability development services. This offering is unrivalled in the counter-threat domain and once again demonstrates the pioneering and agile ethos of the founding partner companies”.
